Hineleban Foundation’s leadership and staff command extensive experience and track record of working directly with communities at the grass roots level with the Indigenous Peoples’ (IP) tribes and the Bangsamoro. This has involved nurturing close relationships with the local leadership, building mutual trust and confidence, and strengthening the capacity of related people’s organizations and civil society networks to help empower the communities of Mindanao. Hineleban also engages government departments, multilateral and bilateral aid agencies and international non-governmental organizations, as well as the private sector in the process of promoting investment and growth, creating employment and improving economic livelihood of communities on the island.
At the managerial level, Hineleban core team’s experience includes, development policy and planning, program development and project management. At the technical level, Hineleban’s skills include, economic and sector policy analysis, governance and capacity building, human and social development, rural livelihood improvement, agroforestry, sustainable watershed conservation, and geographic information systems. The Foundation is supported in the field by peace promotion and values formation officers who have direct engagement with the tribal leadership and their communities across the mountain ranges of Bukidnon. Aside from Hineleban in-house team, our sister company namely, Unifrutti Group Philippines has a large pool of multidisciplinary international and national experts that, aside from their respective technical expertise, have deep knowledge and appreciation of the island of Mindanao. Hineleban Foundation is able to draw on these expertise on a needs basis.
