AFD Mission Meets the IP Leaders of Bukidnon

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The French Development Agency (AFD) Mission meets some of the IP Leaders of the Province of Bukidnon on February 12, 2016 at the Pine Hills Hotel in Malaybalay City. The AFD Mission was led by Mr. Christophe Blanchot, Country Director; Dr. Tiphaine Lemenager from AFD Paris, and Mr. Espero Fernando III of AFD Manila.

The IP Leaders of Bukidnon were represented by Datu Makapukaw Adolino Saway, Datu Salakup Rodelio Saway, and Datu Delboy Parente of the Talaanding Tribe; Datu Jeodoro Sulda and Datu Prody Sulda of the Manobo Tribe; and Bae Inatlawan Adelina Tarino and Bae Tarcelita Tarunzon both of the Bukidnon Tribe.

Bae Inatlawan and Bae Tarcelita, who are both leaders of the Bukidnon Tribe communities with CADTs, shared their experiences in controlling “kaingin” in their communities. All IP leaders expressed their expectations of the RENAISSANCE Project, particularly in securing food security through the livelihood component of the Project.
